Are you ready to take on a leading role in the development of cutting-edge Advanced Packaging technology? We are seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative team in The Netherlands. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing next-generation Advanced Packaging machines. Your expertise will contribute significantly to optimizing machine concepts that satisfy demanding customer requirements. As part of a growing team, you will initially focus on individual contributions, with opportunities to mentor and lead as the project evolves.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop optimum mechanical concepts for new Advanced Packaging machines in collaboration with domain experts
• Perform calculations and advanced simulations, including FEM, stiffness calculations, and eigenfrequencies
• Ensure compliance with ISO 3 cleanroom requirements and assist in patent applications when applicable
• Design and realize the mechanical concept, defining functional modules and prototype realization
• Collaborate with external partners and in-house teams in Singapore and Hong Kong to create optimal machine designs
• Test and integrate prototypes, demonstrating full performance of the new concept during production series
• Coach, mentor, and supervise junior colleagues as the team expands
• Occasional international travel to collaborate with product development centres in Asia and development partners in Europe
