We are looking for a skilled and driven Senior System Engineer to join our team at ASMPT. In this role, you will contribute to the technical development and enhancement of a completely new system within our latest generation Advanced Packaging machines. Advanced packaging plays a key role in semiconductor manufacturing, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enable the integration of multiple chips into a single, high-performance solution. Collaborating closely within a multidisciplinary team of engineers, you will drive the full project lifecycle: from initiation and technical feasibility to production and global deployment. Key Responsibilities

• Contributing to the technical development of the new generation of Advanced Packaging systems.
• Support Lead System Architect in assessing architectural scenarios on technical feasibility.
• Provide input to project manager for plan, planning, budget and timelines.
• Define system and module requirements by following a systematic process that ensures clarity, traceability, and alignment with stakeholder needs.
• Overviewing the system complexity by employing a structured approach that breaks down the system into manageable subsets and making timing-, volume-, error- and other breakdowns to secure nanometre level system accuracy.
• Conducting failure mode and effect analyses at different abstraction levels.
• Predict system performance using a combination of analytical models, simulations, and experimental validation.
• Adhering to disciplined and thorough documentation in all phases of the development process.
• Occasional international travel to collaborate with product development centres in Asia and development partners in Europe.
